The Bahá’ís of Iran have suffered since the inception of their faith in 1844. Currently the persecution has increased and the Iranian legislature has ordered that they are no longer allowed even to meet. The Bahá’í law of obedience to government means that all their activities have therefore ceased. I am a Baha’i and as such know that our faith is peaceful and includes the followers of all religions with unity and compassion. I feel terrible about the prosecution of my fellow believers in Iran.
